Battles Home Improvement is a family owned business that took their mission statement: "To treat our customers the way we want to be treated" one step farther, "we decided we would treat our customers the way we would want a contractor to treat our parents if they were in their home."

The company told the judges, "…we strive for excellence in the workplace. We don't just stop with 'okay' - we strive for excellence in all areas of our business - weather your job is to answer the telephone or install new windows - we expect an employee of Battles to do the very best job possible."
This philosophy of excellence is paying off with customers of Battles Home Improvements. "I also want to compliment you on the professionalism of each crew that was working at my home. This is an extremely important factor, and I was well pleased with each person with whom I interacted." Another customer had this to say, "…I appreciated your straight forward, no nonsense approach when dealing with me concerning the replacement of the damaged siding on my home. Unlike many of the contractors I have had to deal with, …it has actually been a painless and enjoyable process in dealing with your company."
